Jeśli zapytać miłośnika muszli, z czym kojarzy mu się – Cypraea /Barycypraea/ fultoni massieri – odpowie, iż ze wspaniałą, rzadką i pożądaną porcelanką.
Klasyfikujący ją w listopadzie 2001 roku Felix Lorenz /”Schriften zur Malakozoologie” November, 2001/ dedykował tę formę nieprzeciętnemu znawcy malakofauny afrykańskiej – Wernerowi Massierowi z Namibii.
Odczuwam satysfakcję, iż dane mi jest powitać p. Massiera w I.K.M.M. „CONCHA” !
Werner Massier, którego rodowe korzenie sięgają Polski, unika poklasku. Próżno też poszukiwać jego podobizny w internetowych galeriach…poza „CONCHĄ”. Dziękuję !
